You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information before submitting a quote request. If you exercise this right, we will not transmit your information to insurance partners. Note that opting out will prevent you from receiving insurance quotes through our service.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, please email us at privacy@bestcarrates.com with the subject line "Opt-Out Request" and include your name and email address associated with your account.
We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm once complete.
We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will ask you to provide certain information to match with our records. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny your request.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide written permission signed by you, and we may still require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Response Timing
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will inform you of the reason and may extend the response period by an additional 45 days.

As a pass-through service, Best Car Rates does not retain your personal information after it has been transmitted to our insurance partners. We may retain limited transaction logs for a short period to troubleshoot technical issues, but these logs do not contain your personal information.
